Modifying Si6000b v2.xx custom worksheets to run with Si6000 v3
The Si6000b version 2.xx functions were supplied by the Si6000 workbooks, Si6000b.xls or Si6000bExpert.xls, and were made available as user-defined for use in new workbooks.
Custom-made Excel spreadsheets, produced to run under Si6000b version 2.xx will not run under Si6000 version 3 until a small alteration has been made to your sheets.
The Polar functions which you produced for the Si6000b v2.xx contain a term Si6000b... (the function name includes the name of the workbook where the function is stored).
For example, Si6000b.xls!POLARSURFACEMICROSTRIP()
(The function name will contain the term Si6000bExpert... if you constructed them using the Si6000b Expert workbook.)
To enable these functions to run under
the Si6000 v3 it is necessary to remove the “b” from the function
name. This simple process is described in detail under the next heading

Open your custom made spreadsheet.
Left-click on the Edit menu in the menu bar
From the Edit menu — choose the Replace... command
Si6000b
and in the “Replace by” field enter
Si6000
Left click on Replace All to replace all references to Si6000b with Si6000.
(If preferred, use Find Next followed by
Replace to replace references one-at-a-time)
Your custom sheet will now run with Si6000 v3, whether you use a “b” key or a “c” key. Save this new custom made sheet in a file with a new name, or overwrite the old file.
