Charting Z0 as H1 varies
In this example, given the values below in the Lossless calculation tab, switch to the Si9000 sensitivity analysis tab (all values in mil.)
The parameters shown, including a nominal value of H1 of 8.5, result in an impedance of 75.18 Ohm. To chart the effect on impedance of varying H1, specify the range of H1 values, from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 10; use an increment of 1.
Click Calculate – the range of impedance values against substrate height is shown below.
