Windows Server-side installer for counted licenses

Floating (counted) licenses will require the server-side installer.

Note: FlexNet Publisher v11.19.0 requires Windows 7 or later
(see Polar Application Note AP605 System requirements for Polar software products)

Download the server-side installer and copy to a suitable folder

Unzip the file and follow the installation instructions (FlexLm Server Side Installation v11.19.0.pdf)

FlexNet ID Software key (dongle) driver

USB FlexNet ID software key-based licenses will require the USB driver.

Supports Windows operating systems.

Note: For Windows 10 Machines – copy the drivers first before running the installer. If you encounter a blue-screen or immediate reboot then please re-run the haspdinst -install again and it will then install correctly.

Polar software products requiring the Microsoft .NET Framework

Products requiring the .NET Frameworks should find the software works without further intervention on Windows 10/11. Should a Windows Features message alert you then download and install the .NET Framework version as required – as of January 2024 .Net Framework 4.8 is the minimum requirement.

Speedstack, Si8000m / Si9000e TRC, CGen and Si Excel x64 v24.xx onwards require .NET Framework 4.8 runtime libraries.  The latest editions of Windows 10 / 11 include the Framework 4.xx runtime libraries as part of the Windows distribution.

Speedstack, Si8000m / Si9000e TRC, CGen and Si Excel x64 v23.xx and earlier require the .NET Framework 3.5 runtime libraries.  When running the application on Windows 10 / 11 systems for the first time you might be prompted to install the .NET Framework 3.5.

If the required version is not already present on Windows 10 / 11 you may see a message similar to the below during the installation:

Click Install this feature to install the framework and complete the installation.
