Replacing/renewing a Polar server based (counted) license file on your FlexNet license server

To replace your Polar software license file currently in use on your FlexNet license server (for example, if the old license has expired or been upgraded) follow the steps below:

1. When renewing licenses Polar will usually issue a renewal license with the same name as the current license file in use on your license server.
2. Note the location of the current license file.
3. Ensure the license server name and address on the SERVER line of the new license file matches the name and address of the FlexNet license server
4. Replace the current license file with the new license file – add the port number and options information if appropriate.
5. Navigate to the installation folder and launch LMTools, select the Start/Stop/Reread tab and click ReRead License File

The new license FEATURES should now be available for checking out and in by the FlexNet license manager.
